Privacy

Lievanto collects the minimum it needs to run your baking log. We do not sell your data, run ads, or track you across other apps or sites.

Linked to your account

Your email address (to sign in and recover your account) and the content you create: recipes, cook sessions, ratings, notes, and photos. The lawful basis is performing the contract to provide the service you signed up for.

Launch notify list

If you sign up to hear when the apps launch, we store the email you enter and, if you add one, your feature wish, on the basis of your consent. We use it for one launch announcement and to plan features, nothing else. To be removed, email privacy@lievanto.com and we'll delete it.

Not linked to you

Anonymous diagnostics, such as crash reports, used only to fix bugs.

Tracking

None. There are no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or rent your data. We use a small number of service providers to run Lievanto, and share only what each needs to do its job, under data-processing terms:

  • Email delivery, to send verification, password-reset, and launch emails.
  • Error monitoring, to capture anonymous crash and error reports.
  • Cloud hosting, to run the service and store your data.

Some providers are based outside the EU. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Deleting your account permanently removes your data. You can export your sessions to CSV at any time. Notify-list emails are kept until launch and a short window after, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, hand it to you in a portable format, or restrict and object to how we use it. Email privacy@lievanto.com and we'll act on it.

If you're in the EU and think we've handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority. In the Netherlands that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Content and sources

The Learn articles are original explanations written for Lievanto. They teach baking facts and techniques, which aren't anyone's property, in our own words. Where an article draws on a book, spec, or guide, that work is credited in a Sources list at the foot of the article, with a link to the original.

Brand, product, and book names mentioned in the articles belong to their owners and are used only to refer to them. If you own a cited work and want a credit changed or removed, email privacy@lievanto.com.

Terms of use

Lievanto is provided as a free early release while we improve the baking workflow with early users. It is offered as-is, without warranty. The calculators and predictions are guidance to inform your own judgment as a baker, not guarantees of a result.

You keep ownership of the recipes and content you create. Do not misuse the service or attempt to disrupt it for others.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics, this section will say so and name the provider.
